Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (454g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the air fryer basket, and pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Sprinkle the butter pieces over the shrimp.
  5. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for another 3-5 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the sauce has slightly thickened.
  6. Transfer the shrimp to a serving dish, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
