Ingredients:
- 300g (2 ½ cups) All-Purpose Flour, plus extra for dusting
- 7g (2 ¼ teaspoons or one packet) Instant Dry Yeast
- 6g (1 teaspoon) Fine Sea Salt
- 200ml (¾ cup + 1 Tablespoon) Warm Water, about 105-115°F (40-46°C)
- 1 Tablespoon (15ml) Olive Oil
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture.
- Stir until a shaggy dough forms. Add olive oil and mix a little more.
- Cover the bowl and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Gently punch down the dough. Turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide in half if making two pizzas. Roll or stretch to desired shape.
- Transfer dough to a pizza peel dusted with flour or cornmeal. Add your favourite toppings.
- Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving your Quick and Easy Pizza Dough.
