Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs (about 200g)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon milk (or plant-based alternative) (15ml)
- ¼ cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar, about 30g)
- Fresh herbs (e.g., chives or parsley, finely chopped, about 2 tablespoons or 10g)
- Cooked bacon or sausage bits (optional, about 30-50g)
Instructions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 270°F (130°C).
- Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together in a mixing bowl until well combined and slightly frothy.
- Prepare muffin cups or ramekins: If using, lightly grease with cooking spray or butter.
- Distribute the egg mixture evenly into the muffin cups or ramekins. If desired, add cheese, herbs, or meat bits.
- Place the cups in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the eggs are set and lightly golden on top. Check for doneness by gently shaking—eggs should be slightly jiggly but firm at the edges.
- Remove the eggs from the air fryer and let cool for a minute before serving.
- Garnish with additional herbs if desired and serve warm.
