Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Red pepper flakes, to taste
Instructions:
- Trim the ends off the green beans and place them in a large mixing bowl.
- Drizzle the green beans with olive oil. Add the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper (and red pepper flakes, if using). Toss well to coat evenly.
- Preheat the air fryer (if your model requires it) to 400°F (200°C). Spread the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the green beans are tender-crisp and lightly browned.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately for maximum crispiness.
