  • 1 tbsp Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch Garlic Salt

Instructions:

  1. Spread the 1 tbsp of mayonnaise evenly across one side of each bread slice.
  2. Sprinkle the pinch of garlic salt over the mayo side of the bread. This ensures the seasoning is toasted directly into the crust.
  3. Place one slice of bread, mayo side down, onto a clean surface.
  4. Layer the Cheddar: Place the 2 slices of medium cheddar on the dry side of the bread.
  5. Add the Mozzarella: Evenly spread the 1 tbsp of shredded mozzarella over the cheddar.
  6. Close the Sandwich: Place the second slice of bread on top, mayo side facing up.
  7. Secure the Structure: Insert a wooden toothpick through the center of the sandwich.
  8. Heat the Fryer: Set your air fryer to 180°C.
  9. First Bake: Place the sandwich in the basket and cook for 5 minutes until the kitchen smells like toasted garlic and yeast.
  10. The Flip: Use your spatula to flip the sandwich carefully.
  11. Finish the Crisp: Cook for another 3 minutes until the edges are a deep mahogany and the cheese is bubbling out.
