Ingredients:

  • 2 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lemon, halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley or dill, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice (from half a lemon), minced garlic, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. Place salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down (if using skin-on fillets). Ensure they are not overlapping.
  5. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Adjust cook time based on the thickness of the fillets.
  6. The internal temperature of the salmon should reach 145°F (63°C).
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill (optional) and a lemon wedge. Serve immediately.
