Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225 g) block of feta cheese, preferably in brine
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey, plus more for drizzling
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp (5 g) dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp (1 g) black pepper
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs (optional for garnish)
  • Fresh bread or crackers (for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drain feta cheese if in brine; place in the center of the baking dish.
  3. Drizzle honey and olive oil over the feta. Sprinkle oregano and black pepper on top.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the feta is soft and golden.
  5. Remove from oven, drizzle with additional honey, and garnish with thyme or rosemary if desired. Serve warm with fresh bread or crackers.
