Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) mixed frozen berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) plain Greek yogurt (low-fat or full-fat)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy, such as almond milk or oat milk)
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey or maple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseed meal (for added nutrition)
  • Optional: 2-3 ice cubes (for a thicker smoothie)

Instructions:

  1. Add the frozen berries, Greek yogurt, milk, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  3. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk. If it's too thin, add a few more frozen berries or ice cubes.
  4. Stir in chia seeds or flaxseed meal if desired.
  5. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately! This is a delicious fruit shake with yogurt.
