Ingredients:
- 1 can (450g) refried beans
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp (8g) taco seasoning
- 2 cups (450g) sour cream
- 2 cups (450g) prepared guacamole
- 1 tsp (2g) dried oregano
- 1.5 cups (170g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup (240ml) thick salsa, thoroughly drained
- 1 can (115g) sliced black olives, drained
- 1/2 cup (50g) green onions, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup (10g) fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions:
- Mix the dried oregano into the sour cream until well combined.
- Spread the guacamole in an even layer over the seasoned beans to seal them.
- Layer the prepared sour cream over the guacamole.
- Drain the salsa through a fine-mesh strainer to remove excess liquid, then spread over the sour cream layer.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, followed by the drained black olives and sliced green onions.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately with sturdy tortilla chips.
