- 1 cup (120g) heat-treated all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons milk
- ½ cup (85g) chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Combine oats, flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream together butter and sugars in a separate bowl.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- For the cookie dough center, cream together butter and sugars.
- Beat in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add heat-treated flour and milk, mixing until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop out oatmeal dough and flatten slightly. Press a small ball of cookie dough filling into the center.
- Enclose the filling with the oatmeal dough.
- Place the assembled bites on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
