Ingredients:
- 1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed (227g)
- 1 (16 ounce) package powdered sugar (Confectioner's Sugar) (454g)
- 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips (340g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth. Be careful not to burn the chocolate!
- In a large bowl, gently fold the thawed Cool Whip into the melted chocolate until well combined.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar to the chocolate mixture, folding until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract (if using).
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, until firm.
- Once firm, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
