Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pizza dough (12-14 inches)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil, plus extra for garnish
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano, plus extra for garnish
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 large egg white
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup halved cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- Optional: Red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Place pizza stone or baking sheet into the oven while preheating. Stretch or roll out your pizza dough. Brush with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, minced garlic, and egg white. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Arrange the cherry tomatoes, red onion, and black olives on top of the cottage cheese layer.
- Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated baking stone or baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are heated through.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil and oregano. Slice and serve immediately.
