Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made pizza dough (12-14 inches)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano, plus extra for garnish
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg white
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Place pizza stone or baking sheet into the oven while preheating. Stretch or roll out your pizza dough. Brush with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, minced garlic, and egg white. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  4. Arrange the cherry tomatoes, red onion, and black olives on top of the cottage cheese layer.
  5. Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated baking stone or baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are heated through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil and oregano. Slice and serve immediately.
