Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt
- 1 cup (120g) panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup (55g) grated cheddar cheese (sharp cheddar preferred)
- 1/4 cup (30g) cooked and crumbled bacon (about 4-5 slices)
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) ranch dressing
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) melted butter
Instructions:
- Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels. In a bowl, combine chicken tenders, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat evenly.
- In a separate bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, and melted butter. Mix well until everything is evenly moistened and forms a crumbly mixture.
- One at a time, dredge each chicken tender in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating adheres.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, being careful not to overcrowd.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from air fryer and serve immediately. Enjoy your crack chicken tenders air fryer!
