- 1 medium banana (about 120g, peeled)
- 1 cup (240ml) almond milk (or any preferred milk)
- 1 cup (30g) fresh spinach leaves, packed
- 1 tablespoon (15g) honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) chia seeds (optional)
- Ice cubes (as needed)
Instructions:
- Halve and pit the avocado, scoop into blender.
- Peel the banana and break into chunks.
- Rinse spinach leaves thoroughly.
- Add almond milk to the blender first for easier blending.
- Combine avocado, banana, spinach, honey (or maple syrup), and chia seeds.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk gradually.
- Add ice cubes for a chillier texture and blend again.
- Taste the smoothie; adjust sweetness as desired with more honey or maple syrup.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
