Ingredients:

  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans green beans, drained (800g drained)
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup (300g)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened (115g)
  • 1/2 cup milk (120ml)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2g)
  • 1 (2.8 ounce) can French fried onions (80g)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the drained green beans, condensed cream of mushroom soup, softened cream cheese, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle the French fried onions evenly over the top.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the French fried onions are golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley (if using) and serve warm.
