Ingredients:

  • 1 cup steel cut oats (150g)
  • 4 cups unsweetened almond milk (960ml)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (15g)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (15ml)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (2.5ml)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh fruit (sliced bananas, berries, or chopped apples)
  • Nuts and seeds (walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds)
  • Yogurt (Greek or dairy-free)
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg for spice

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add steel cut oats, almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Use a spoon or whisk to stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into individual jars or a large airtight container.
  4. Seal the containers and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, stir well and add your choice of toppings.
  6. Dig in cold or gently warm in the microwave if preferred.
