Ingredients:
- 1 cup steel cut oats (150g)
- 4 cups unsweetened almond milk (960ml)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (15g)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (15ml)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (2.5ml)
- Pinch of salt
- Fresh fruit (sliced bananas, berries, or chopped apples)
- Nuts and seeds (walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds)
- Yogurt (Greek or dairy-free)
- Cinnamon or nutmeg for spice
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add steel cut oats, almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Use a spoon or whisk to stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined.
- Divide the mixture into individual jars or a large airtight container.
- Seal the containers and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, stir well and add your choice of toppings.
- Dig in cold or gently warm in the microwave if preferred.
