Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tbsp (30ml) olive oil
- 1 tsp (5g) garlic powder
- ½ tsp (2.5g) salt
- ¼ tsp (1.25g) black pepper
- Optional: Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions:
- Wash the asparagus thoroughly under running water and trim the woody ends off (about 1-2 inches).
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the trimmed asparagus and toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned asparagus in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Asparagus is done when it is tender and lightly browned, slightly crispy to the bite.
- Transfer the asparagus to a serving plate and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
