Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs / 680 g)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (1 g)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (5 g)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2 g)
  • Juice of half a lemon (about 15 ml)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts with paper towel. Trim any excess fat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Add chicken breasts to the marinade; coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 5 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge for more flavor).
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through (165°F / 74°C).
  6. Remove chicken from air fryer; let rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
