Ingredients:
- 14 oz firm tofu, drained and pressed
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- Pinch of pepper
- Chopped green onions (optional)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions:
- Drain and press the tofu to remove excess moisture for at least 15 minutes.
- Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ground ginger, and pepper.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and gently toss to coat. Let sit for 10 minutes for flavor absorption.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
