Ingredients:
- 2-3 pounds baby back ribs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 medium head green cabbage, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- Season ribs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Place the seasoned ribs in the crock pot.
- Pour barbecue sauce evenly over the ribs.
- In a large bowl, combine chopped cabbage, sliced onion, olive oil, caraway seeds, and apple cider vinegar.
- Season with salt and pepper; toss to combine.
- Layer the cabbage mixture over the ribs in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until ribs are tender.
- Remove ribs and cabbage from the crock pot; let rest for a few minutes before serving.
