Ingredients:
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- 3 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions:
- Place the 900 g ground beef in the bottom of the slow cooker. Note: Keep it loose so heat circulates
- Pour 240 ml chunky salsa over the beef.
- Sprinkle 45 ml taco seasoning, 5 ml garlic powder, and 2.5 ml smoked paprika on top.
- Give the mixture a light stir to combine.
- Cover with the lid and set to High for 4 hours. Cook until the meat is browned and tender.
- Use a meat masher or wooden spatula to break the beef into small crumbles.
- Skim off the liquid fat from the top with a large spoon.
- Blot any remaining grease with paper towels until the sauce is thick and mahogany colored.
