Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces (115g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces (115g) Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup (30g) finely chopped green onions (scallions)
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup (50g) dried cranberries, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup (50g) pecan pieces, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (25g) chopped fresh parsley
  • Everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, green onions, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  2. Mix all ingredients until well combined and smooth.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. While chilling, combine cranberries, pecans, and parsley in a small bowl. Mix well and add everything bagel seasoning (optional).
  5. Remove the chilled cheese mixture from the refrigerator and form into a ball using your hands (lightly dampened).
  6. Roll the cheese ball in the prepared cranberry-pecan mixture, pressing gently.
  7. Wrap the coated cheese ball and refrigerate for another 30 minutes (optional).
  8. Transfer to a serving platter and serve with crackers, vegetables, or other accompaniments. Your christmas cheese ball is ready.
