Ingredients:
- 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 4 ounces (115g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces (115g) Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup (30g) finely chopped green onions (scallions)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup (50g) dried cranberries, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup (50g) pecan pieces, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup (25g) chopped fresh parsley
- Everything bagel seasoning (optional)
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, green onions, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Mix all ingredients until well combined and smooth.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- While chilling, combine cranberries, pecans, and parsley in a small bowl. Mix well and add everything bagel seasoning (optional).
- Remove the chilled cheese mixture from the refrigerator and form into a ball using your hands (lightly dampened).
- Roll the cheese ball in the prepared cranberry-pecan mixture, pressing gently.
- Wrap the coated cheese ball and refrigerate for another 30 minutes (optional).
- Transfer to a serving platter and serve with crackers, vegetables, or other accompaniments. Your christmas cheese ball is ready.
