Ingredients:
- 1 package (14 oz) all-beef franks, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 cans (16 oz each) canned baked beans
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced hot dogs and sauté for 3–5 minutes until the edges are golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Reduce heat to medium. Move the franks to the side of the pan and add the diced onions. Cook for 3 minutes until translucent, then stir in the minced garlic and smoked paprika, cooking for an additional 30 seconds.
- Pour in the canned beans, ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar. Stir well to combine. Bring to a light bubble, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 8–10 minutes until the sauce has thickened and glazed the beans.
