Ingredients:
- ½ cup popcorn kernels (125 grams)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (30 ml)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (2 grams)
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (2 grams)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 grams)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (3 grams)
- ½ teaspoon salt (3 grams)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (30 grams)
- Optional garnishes: Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
Instructions:
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add a few kernels and cover. Wait for them to pop, then add the rest of the kernels. Cover and shake the pot occasionally to prevent burning.
- In a mixing bowl, combine smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Drizzle the melted butter over the popped popcorn once done, then sprinkle the spice mixture. Toss well to coat evenly.
- Transfer the spicy popcorn to a serving bowl. Optional: Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately.
