Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
  • 1 tsp (5ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves (15g) fresh garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tbsp (4g) fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp (1.5g) sea salt
  • ⅛ tsp (0.5g) cracked black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place the softened unsalted butter in a mixing bowl. Stir in the fresh lemon juice until fully incorporated.
  2. Add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, sea salt, and cracked black pepper. Use a fork to fold the ingredients together, pressing the garlic into the butter until the mixture is uniform.
  3. Spoon the mixture onto parchment paper. Roll the butter into a tight cylinder (log shape) and twist the ends of the paper to seal it.
  4. Place the butter log in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up before slicing.
