Ingredients:
- 2 lbs bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 medium lime, juiced and zested
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken thighs bone-dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lime juice, lime zest, and honey to create the glaze.
- Heat a 12-inch oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place thighs skin-side down and sear for 5–7 minutes without moving them until the skin is deep mahogany gold.
- Flip the thighs over and pour the garlic-lime mixture directly over the seared skin.
- Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
