Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 whole Silver Laced Polish Chicken (about 3-4 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil.
- Place the chicken in the marinade
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels. Brush the chicken with melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken breast side up in a roasting pan. Roast for about 1 hour, basting occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve warm.
