Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 whole Silver Laced Polish Chicken (about 3-4 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil.
  2. Place the chicken in the marinade
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels. Brush the chicken with melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Place the chicken breast side up in a roasting pan. Roast for about 1 hour, basting occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for 10 minutes before carving. Serve warm.
