Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil (60 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (30 ml)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano (5 g)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (5 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (3 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1 g)
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6-8 oz each; 170-227 g)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour marinade over the chicken, ensuring it's well-coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. While chicken is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F/190°C).
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place chicken breasts on the grill. Cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Remove chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve hot.
