- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Optional: a pinch of salt for flavor adjustment
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and lemon zest; mix well.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk; mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- While cooling, prepare the icing by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Once the cake is fully cooled, drizzle the icing over the top and let it set before slicing.
