Ingredients:
- 1 (8 ounce/225g) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (21 ounce/595g) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (15.25 ounce/432g) box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick/113g) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions:
- Beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Mix in egg and vanilla until well combined.
- Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the baking pan.
- Gently pour or spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the strawberry filling.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cheesecake layer.
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown and the filling is set. Let cool completely before serving.
