Ingredients:

  • 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 3 teaspoons (15g) baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon (6g) salt
  • 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) milk, warmed slightly (not hot!)
  • 6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter, melted, plus more for brushing
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning, for sprinkling (Optional)
  • Sesame Seeds, for sprinkling (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add the warm milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix!
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each roll.
  5. Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter (optional).
  6. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning (optional).
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Immediately brush the warm rolls with more melted butter.
