Ingredients:
- 750 ml chilled Brut Champagne or dry Prosecco
- 250 ml Lambrusco or sparkling red wine
- 500 ml premium club soda
- 300 ml London Dry Gin
- 200 ml premium filtered vodka
- 150 ml bourbon or rye whiskey
- 100 ml elderflower liqueur
- 100 ml Lillet Blanc or dry vermouth
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 240 ml water
- 150 g fresh pomegranate seeds
- 60 ml pure maple syrup
- 120 ml freshly squeezed lemon and lime juice
- 10 fresh rosemary sprigs
- 12 green grapes
- 1 tsp edible gold luster dust
- 4 dehydrated orange slices
Instructions:
- Prepare the festive simple syrup by simmering 200g sugar and 240ml water with aromatics for 5 minutes; let cool completely.
- Chill all glassware (Champagne flutes and coupes) in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to minimize nucleation and preserve carbonation.
- For shaken cocktails, combine spirits, citrus, and syrup in a Boston shaker with ice and shake for 12-15 seconds.
- For stirred cocktails, combine spirits and fortified wines in a mixing glass with large format ice and stir for 30 seconds.
- Double strain the mixture into chilled glasses using Hawthorne and fine mesh strainers to remove ice shards.
- Top with chilled sparkling wine or club soda and garnish with pomegranate seeds, rosemary, or edible gold dust.
