Ingredients:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 16 oz whipped topping, thawed and divided
- 4 large bananas, sliced
- 20 oz crushed pineapple, thoroughly drained
- 6.8 oz instant vanilla or banana cream pudding mix (two 3.4 oz packages)
- 3 cups whole milk, cold
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 12 maraschino cherries
Instructions:
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Press firmly into a 9x13 inch dish. Freeze for 10 minutes to set.
- Beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 8 oz of whipped topping. Spread evenly over the chilled crust to create a moisture barrier.
- Arrange banana slices in a single layer over the cream cheese mixture. Spread the well-drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
- Whisk instant pudding mix with cold milk for 2 minutes until thickened. Pour immediately over the pineapple layer and smooth with a spatula.
- Spread the remaining 8 oz of whipped topping over the pudding. Garnish with chopped nuts, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and maraschino cherries. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
