Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup (45g) Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 0.5 cup (120ml) Milk
  • 0.25 cup (60g) Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp (12g) Chia seeds
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Maple syrup
  • 1 pinch Sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt to a 16 oz mason jar. If making the chocolate version, whisk in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder now.
  2. Pour in the milk of choice, pure vanilla extract, and maple syrup or preferred sweetener.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt to the mixture to provide creaminess and protein.
  4. Stir vigorously until all oats are submerged. Wait 2 minutes, then stir once more to prevent chia seed clumping.
  5. Seal the container with a tight lid and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours, or overnight for the best texture.
  6. Give the oats a final stir in the morning, adding an extra splash of milk if needed. Garnish with fresh fruit or nuts before serving.
