Ingredients:
- 0.5 cup (45g) Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 0.5 cup (120ml) Milk
- 0.25 cup (60g) Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp (12g) Chia seeds
- 1 tsp (5ml) Pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Maple syrup
- 1 pinch Sea salt
Instructions:
- Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt to a 16 oz mason jar. If making the chocolate version, whisk in 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder now.
- Pour in the milk of choice, pure vanilla extract, and maple syrup or preferred sweetener.
- Add the Greek yogurt to the mixture to provide creaminess and protein.
- Stir vigorously until all oats are submerged. Wait 2 minutes, then stir once more to prevent chia seed clumping.
- Seal the container with a tight lid and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours, or overnight for the best texture.
- Give the oats a final stir in the morning, adding an extra splash of milk if needed. Garnish with fresh fruit or nuts before serving.
