Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6-8 ounces each)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon dried Italian herbs (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika (and Italian herbs, if using).
  3. Brush or rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes if your model recommends it.
  5. Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 12-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
