Ingredients:
- 2 (6-ounce/170g each) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
- 1 teaspoon/5g lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon/2.5g garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon/1.25g paprika (smoked or sweet)
- 1/4 teaspoon/1.25g salt
- 1/8 teaspoon/0.6g black pepper
- Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish (dill, parsley, chives)
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush or drizzle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Preheat Air Fryer (If Needed): Check your manufacturer's instructions.
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down (if using skin-on fillets). Ensure they are not overlapping.
- Air fry at 400°F/200°C for 8-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F/63°C. Check the temperature using a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the fillet.
- Let the salmon rest for a minute or two before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, and serve immediately.
