Ingredients:

  • 2 (6-ounce/170g each) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon/5g lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon/2.5g garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25g paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25g salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon/0.6g black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh herbs for garnish (dill, parsley, chives)

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush or drizzle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. Preheat Air Fryer (If Needed): Check your manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down (if using skin-on fillets). Ensure they are not overlapping.
  6. Air fry at 400°F/200°C for 8-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F/63°C. Check the temperature using a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the fillet.
  7. Let the salmon rest for a minute or two before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, and serve immediately.
