Ingredients:
- 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill) (30 ml fresh/ 15 ml dried)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 ml)
- ½ teaspoon salt (2.5 ml)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25 ml)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil (for easy cleanup).
- Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Arrange lemon slices over the salmon fillets. Sprinkle with chopped dill.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Serve immediately.
