Ingredients:

  • 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill) (30 ml fresh/ 15 ml dried)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (2.5 ml)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25 ml)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil (for easy cleanup).
  3. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  6. Arrange lemon slices over the salmon fillets. Sprinkle with chopped dill.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  8. Serve immediately.
