Ingredients:
- 2 Salmon Fillets (6 oz / 170g each), skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (15 ml)
- 1/2 Lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill (chopped), or 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt (1.5g)
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (1.5g)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup (optional).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the salmon fillets with the garlic herb oil mixture.
- Place lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- If using a thermometer, the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Let the salmon rest for a minute or two before serving.
