Ingredients:

  • 2 Salmon Fillets (6 oz / 170g each), skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil (15 ml)
  • 1/2 Lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill (chopped), or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt (1.5g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper (1.5g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup (optional).
  3. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, dill, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush the salmon fillets with the garlic herb oil mixture.
  6. Place lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. If using a thermometer, the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  9. Let the salmon rest for a minute or two before serving.
