  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each; approximately 170 g)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30 mL)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt (5 g)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper (2 g)
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice (10 mL)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (3 g)
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (1 g)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)
  • Fresh dill (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup if desired.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet, skin-side down. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dill. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove from the oven, garnish with lemon slices and fresh dill, and serve immediately.
