Ingredients:

  • 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons/30ml fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon/5g garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon/2.5g salt
  • ¼ teaspoon/1.25g black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the marinade evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Top each salmon fillet with lemon slices and sprinkle with fresh dill.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Check for doneness by gently flaking with a fork or inserting a meat thermometer (aim for an internal temperature of 145°F/63°C).
  7. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
