Ingredients:
- 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons/30ml fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon/5g garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon/2.5g salt
- ¼ teaspoon/1.25g black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the marinade evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Top each salmon fillet with lemon slices and sprinkle with fresh dill.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Check for doneness by gently flaking with a fork or inserting a meat thermometer (aim for an internal temperature of 145°F/63°C).
- Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
