Ingredients:
- 2 (6-ounce / 170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon / 15ml olive oil
- 1 tablespoon / 15ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon / 5ml dried dill (or 1 tablespoon fresh, chopped)
- ½ teaspoon / 2.5ml salt
- ¼ teaspoon / 1.25ml black pepper
- Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F / 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (if using).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle the mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Visual cue: The salmon should be opaque and the internal temperature should reach 145°F / 63°C.
- Garnish with lemon slices (if using). Serve immediately.
