Ingredients:
- 2 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced (save juice from the ends)
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill) (15ml or 5ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2.5ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.25ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, chopped dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Brush the mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Arrange lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets. Squeeze any leftover lemon juice from the cut ends of the lemon over the salmon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-18 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork or reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) when measured with an instant-read thermometer.
- Serve immediately and enjoy.
