Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) fresh Brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved (or quartered if large)
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) salt, or to taste
- ⅛ teaspoon (0.6ml) black pepper, or to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon (15ml) balsamic glaze, for serving
Instructions:
- Wash and trim the Brussel sprouts. Halve or quarter depending on size.
- In a large bowl, toss the Brussel sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Ensure sprouts are evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the seasoned Brussel sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the Brussel sprouts are tender and crispy, with some leaves slightly charred.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired. Enjoy these perfectly cooked brussel sprouts in the air.
