Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) fresh Brussel sprouts, trimmed and halved (or quartered if large)
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.25ml) salt, or to taste
  • ⅛ teaspoon (0.6ml) black pepper, or to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon (15ml) balsamic glaze, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Wash and trim the Brussel sprouts. Halve or quarter depending on size.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussel sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Ensure sprouts are evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the seasoned Brussel sprouts in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding; cook in batches if necessary.
  5. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the Brussel sprouts are tender and crispy, with some leaves slightly charred.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately. Drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired. Enjoy these perfectly cooked brussel sprouts in the air.
