Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough - about 100g each)
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your favourite melting cheese - about 20g each)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (28g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
  2. Lay out 2 slices of bread, butter one side of each slice generously.
  3. Place one slice of cheese on the unbuttered side of each buttered slice.
  4. Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
  5. Carefully place the sandwiches in the heated air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 5 minutes, then flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
  7. Remove the sandwiches from the air fryer and allow to cool for a minute, then slice and enjoy!
