Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200g) brown rice, rinsed
- 1 cup (240ml) water or broth (vegetable or chicken)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) salt (adjust to taste)
Instructions:
- Measure 1 cup of brown rice and rinse it under cold running water until the water runs clear.
- In the Instant Pot, combine the rinsed brown rice, water (or broth), olive oil (if using), and salt.
- Secure the lid on the Instant Pot, ensuring the vent is in the sealing position. Set to Pressure Cook on high for 22 minutes.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes before quick-releasing any remaining pressure.
- Open the lid, fluff the rice with a fork, and serve warm.
