Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs (680g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (60ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir in parsley if using.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade, tossing to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375-400°F or 190-205°C). Clean the grill grates and lightly oil them.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers (optional).
- Place the shrimp on the preheated grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the grill and serve immediately.
