Ingredients:

  • 2 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon/15ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon/5ml dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon/2.5ml garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25ml salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25ml black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush or drizzle marinade over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Place salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping. If the fish has skin and is prone to sticking, put the skin side down.
  6. Air fry for 8-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Check the thickest part of the fish with an instant-read thermometer. The fish should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.
  7. Carefully remove salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately.
