Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces plain naan flatbread (about 6–8 inches each)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) pizza sauce or marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
  • 6-8 fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • 1/4 cup (40 g) sliced pepperoni or cooked chicken pieces (optional)
  • 1/4 cup (35 g) sliced bell peppers or mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C), preferably with a pizza stone inside if available.
  2. Place naan flatbreads on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Evenly spoon and spread pizza sauce over each naan, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the sauce.
  5. Arrange tomato slices, basil leaves, and any optional toppings evenly on each naan.
  6. Lightly sprinkle dried oregano over the top if using.
  7. Place baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and edges are golden and crisp.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool 1-2 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
