Ingredients:
- 2 pieces plain naan flatbread (about 6–8 inches each)
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) pizza sauce or marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (30 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
- 6-8 fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
- 1/4 cup (40 g) sliced pepperoni or cooked chicken pieces (optional)
- 1/4 cup (35 g) sliced bell peppers or mushrooms (optional)
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C), preferably with a pizza stone inside if available.
- Place naan flatbreads on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Evenly spoon and spread pizza sauce over each naan, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the sauce.
- Arrange tomato slices, basil leaves, and any optional toppings evenly on each naan.
- Lightly sprinkle dried oregano over the top if using.
- Place baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and edges are golden and crisp.
- Remove from oven, let cool 1-2 minutes, slice, and serve warm.
