Ingredients:

  • 9 cups (250g) square corn or rice cereal
  • 2 cups (150g) miniature salted pretzels
  • 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
  • 1.5 cups (250g) white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup (55g) unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups (180g) powdered sugar
  • 1 cup (200g) red and green chocolate buttons
  • 2 tbsp (25g) edible gold or silver sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. In a very large mixing bowl, combine the square cereal, miniature pretzels, and rolled oats. Toss gently by hand to distribute the ingredients without breaking the cereal.
  2. Place the white chocolate chips and cubed butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
  3. Stir the pure vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture until well incorporated.
  4. Drizzle the melted chocolate mixture over the dry cereal foundation. Use a rubber spatula to gently fold the mixture until every piece is evenly coated in white chocolate.
  5. Transfer the coated mixture into large zip-top bags and add the powdered sugar. Seal the bags and shake vigorously until the mix is thoroughly coated in 'snow'.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a large rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow it to set and cool for 30 minutes to ensure a crisp texture.
  7. Once set, toss with the red and green chocolate buttons and edible sprinkles before serving or gifting.
