Ingredients:
- 9 cups (250g) square corn or rice cereal
- 2 cups (150g) miniature salted pretzels
- 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
- 1.5 cups (250g) white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (55g) unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups (180g) powdered sugar
- 1 cup (200g) red and green chocolate buttons
- 2 tbsp (25g) edible gold or silver sprinkles
Instructions:
- In a very large mixing bowl, combine the square cereal, miniature pretzels, and rolled oats. Toss gently by hand to distribute the ingredients without breaking the cereal.
- Place the white chocolate chips and cubed butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
- Stir the pure vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture until well incorporated.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate mixture over the dry cereal foundation. Use a rubber spatula to gently fold the mixture until every piece is evenly coated in white chocolate.
- Transfer the coated mixture into large zip-top bags and add the powdered sugar. Seal the bags and shake vigorously until the mix is thoroughly coated in 'snow'.
- Spread the mixture onto a large rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow it to set and cool for 30 minutes to ensure a crisp texture.
- Once set, toss with the red and green chocolate buttons and edible sprinkles before serving or gifting.
