Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) fresh broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (2 g) garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp (2 g) onion powder
- 1/4 tsp (1 g) red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp (30 g) grated Parmesan cheese (optional for serving)
Instructions:
- Preheat to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse and dry the broccoli florets thoroughly. Cut larger florets into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine broccoli florets, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned broccoli in a single layer on a baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding to allow for even roasting.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. Stir or flip halfway through cooking for even crispness. Remove once edges are crispy and florets are tender.
- Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately.
